Being a windows addict for the last 7 years I am now trying my luck with Linux.
Got my set of free Ubuntu and Kubuntu Linux CDs last week. I am going ahead with Kubuntu as the look and feel and the features you get are a bit similar to Windows.
Installed it on my windows machine on a different partition. So far only display driver is giving some problems everything else works fine.
If you want to get your own set of Ubuntu /Kubuntu CDs, they are available for free from https://shipit.kubuntu.org/ and https://shipit.ubuntu.org/ .
As I am new to this world, I will keep posting the problems I face and the solutions if found so that it may help others.
